One of the distinguishing features of our NATO Ankara Summit is its emphasis on defense industry cooperation. At the NATO Defense Industry Forum, which we will organize as part of the summit, we will exhibit our advanced products and discuss measures that will make this cooperation much more effective. Our allies and guests will have seen the significant progress Turkey has made in the field of defense industry in a short time. We will also evaluate global and regional developments, especially Ukraine, Iran, the Gulf and Palestine, in line with NATO's 360-degree approach to security. At this point, we will continue to provide the necessary contributions, together with friendly and brotherly countries, as well as Pakistan and Qatar, to conclude the ceasefire between the United States and Iran with a permanent solution. We closely follow the attacks, especially those targeting Lebanon, that aim to undermine the agreement that gives relief to our region and the world. The Palestine issue lies at the core of the tensions in the Middle East. Unfortunately, permanent peace cannot be achieved in our region until the occupation ends and Israel's ever-increasing land grab ends. The door to lasting peace is the two-state solution. An independent, sovereign, territorial integrity Palestinian state must be established within the 1967 borders.
