Saudi Arabia condemns Israeli occupation forces’ incursions into Syrian territory

Damascus, June 29 (SANA)Saudi Arabia has condemnedIsraeli occupationauthorities’ continued violations in the region, denouncing the latest military incursions into Syrian territory and the shelling of the southern provinces ofQuneitra and Daraa.

In a statement posted on X, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the intimidation of civilians by Israeli occupation forces, describing the actions as violations of international law and established international norms.

The Kingdomstressed the need to end Israeli violations of Syria’s sovereignty and called for compliance with the 1974 Disengagement Agreement to help preserve regional security and stability.

Saudi Arabia also reiterated its support for Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

On Sunday, Israeli occupation forces targeted the village of Abidin in Daraa countryside and its surrounding areas with artillery fire and helicopter-mounted machine guns. The attacks caused no casualties or material damage but triggered panic among residents, prompting a limited number of families to flee to nearby towns.
