Ukraine has already come a long way to the EU, and a lot has been built on this foundation. And negotiations regarding our membership have already begun, and clusters are already opening, and each such step unites us - Ukraine and the European Union, Ukrainians and all of Europe. Behind every such success of the state are our citizens, soldiers and all our people who protect the security and protect the future of the whole of Europe and who every day bring closer not just the entry, but the establishment of us as an integral part of the common European home. And behind every such step are also our like-minded people from other countries, true friends and allies, tested by time and struggle, who have proven that Ukraine and Europe are one. Ukraine will honor all such personalities with a new state award. This is the Order of Europe. A symbol of the effectiveness of the joint defense of our Europe. Ukraine absolutely deserved to have an order with this name. Deserved by her round-the-clock struggle for the life of Europe. And all those who stood and stand side by side with us in this struggle will be awarded such a distinction - the Ukrainian Order of Europe. Україна вже пройшла великий шлях до ЄС, і на цьому фундаменті зведено багато. І вже розпочато перемовини щодо нашого членства, і вже відкриваються кластери, і кожен такий крок поєднує нас – Україну і Європейський Союз, українців і всю Європу. За кожним таким успіхом держави стоять наші громадяни, воїни і всі наші люди, які захищають безпеку й захищають майбутнє всієї Європи і які щодня всіма справами наближають не просто вступ, а утвердження нас як невід’ємної частини спільного європейського дому. І за кожним таким кроком також стоять і наші однодумці з інших країн, справжні друзі й союзники, перевірені часом і боротьбою, які довели, що Україна і Європа – одне ціле. Усіх таких особистостей Україна буде відзначати новою державною нагородою. Це орден Європи. Символ результативності спільного захисту нашої Європи. Україна абсолютно заслужила мати орден саме з такою назвою. Заслужила своєю цілодобовою боротьбою за життя Європи. І всі, хто у цій боротьбі стояли і стоять пліч-о-пліч з нами, – будуть удостоєні такої відзнаки – українського ордена Європи. З виступу з нагоди Дня Конституції України. (5/5)
