Quneitra, June.27 (SANA)Israeli occupation forcecarried out an incursion into the village of Ain al-Eid in the southern countryside ofQuneitraon Saturday.

The force set up a military checkpoint in the village, where personnel stopped and inspected, passersby and raided one of the residents’ homes.

The reported operation followed a similar incident on Friday, when a force consisting of four Israeli military vehicles entered the village of Ain al-Ziwan in southern Quneitra, raided the home of a local resident and detained him before withdrawing from the area.

Israel continues to violate the1974 Disengagement Agreementthrough repeated incursions into southern Syria and military actions affecting civilians, including raids, arrests, land bulldozing and shelling.

Syria reiterates that all measures taken by the Israeli occupation authorities in Syrian territory are null and void and have no legal effect under international law. Damascus has renewed its call on the international community to assume its responsibilities, put an end to these violations and ensure Israel’s full withdrawal from southern Syria.
