At the event, experts from the Center for State Ecological Expertise showcased initiatives aimed at expanding access to environmental information, promoting public involvement in decision-making, and digitizing the nation’s environmental governance system.

Artificial intelligence technologies can greatly enhance how environmental data is collected, analyzed, and shared. They are especially useful for quickly analyzing project documents, identifying issues, evaluating environmental risks, and strengthening the evidence supporting expert conclusions.

A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Center for State Ecological Expertise and a partner organization of the International Association for Impact Assessment.

The memorandum outlines plans to incorporate AI tools into the center’s digital infrastructure, launch pilot projects, create a national methodology, and host international training and professional development courses for specialists.
