Edeeste avanza en proyectos de modernización eléctrica en La Altagracia con inversión superior a los RD 1,060 millones
Santo Domingo.-The Eastern Electricity Distribution Company (Edeeste) reported that it continues to execute important projects to improve the electrical system in the province of La Altagracia, with an investment that exceeds RD 1,060 million, aimed at strengthening the energy infrastructure and responding to the accelerated growth experienced by the district.
Among the works already completed are the installation of voltage regulators in the BENE01 circuit, the segmentation of circuits in Higüey, the placement of five kilometers of public lighting at the entrance to the city and network reorganization work in the HI3803 circuit.
Likewise, the company is currently carrying out the construction of the new HI3804 discharge circuit, which has progressed by 84%, the conversion of networks to a three-phase system on the Mata Chalupe branch and the construction of medium voltage networks for the Kaynoa Airpark and Hacienda La Cortina projects.
Edeeste explained that these works will allow for better distribution of energy, reducing overload in some circuits and improving the quality and continuity of the electrical service for thousands of customers in the province.
The company also reported that the scheduled interruptions that take place in some sectors during the week are necessary to facilitate the work of the technical brigades that work on the execution of these projects. These works require safe operating conditions and are part of the actions that will allow us to offer a more stable and reliable service in the future.
In parallel, the Loss Management Management develops operations to standardize the service and dismantle irregular connections, with the purpose of reducing energy losses, strengthening the distribution network and guaranteeing a safer and more efficient service for all users.
Edeeste reiterated its commitment to continue promoting the necessary investments to accompany the growth of La Altagracia and continue improving the electrical service that its inhabitants and productive sectors receive.
