Berlin, June 26 (SANA)Syria’s charge d’affaires in Berlin, Mohammad Baraa Shukri, met on Friday with Anita Shammas, head of the Middle East division atGermany‘s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, to discuss prospects for cooperation between the two sides, the Syrian embassy said.

The meeting addressed development support files inSyriaand reviewed the progress of joint projects, along with a number of issues of mutual interest, according to an embassy statement on X.

The meeting is part of ongoing engagement between the Syrian embassy and relevant German authorities to follow up on the affairs of theSyrian communityand strengthen bilateral cooperation.
