This afternoon I went to Alor Gajah, Melaka to be with civil servants in the South Zone in a friendly relaxing session that brought together civil servants from Melaka, Negeri Sembilan and Johor. I express the highest respect and recognition to the civil servants who have worked hard to ensure that our country continues to move forward, thereby positioning Malaysia as a country that is increasingly respected on the international stage. Malaysia's success after success on the world stage today, including an 11-step jump that places Malaysia as the 15th most competitive economy in the world in the World Competitiveness Ranking 2026, is impossible to achieve without the efficiency and commitment of civil servants who ensure that every policy is implemented effectively. This success is not the result of the efforts of one or two people, but the result of the work of the entire team of civil servants serving throughout the country. In a series of recent visits to Japan, Russia and Turkmenistan, I saw for myself how the world's confidence in Malaysia is increasing. Various strategic collaborations in the energy, investment and trade sectors were successfully concluded as a result of political stability, policy clarity and the ability of the government machinery to implement decisions efficiently and effectively. But we cannot be satisfied with current achievements. The world is changing rapidly through artificial intelligence, the digital economy, new technologies and increasingly complex geopolitical challenges. Therefore, the entire civil servant team must have a propensity to change, that is, a willingness to change, adapt to new demands and continue to improve capabilities. In the spirit of itqan fil amal or striving for excellence, every trust must be implemented as best as possible. We cannot let a culture of laziness, bureaucracy that slows down business or resistance to change hinder the reform efforts that are being implemented. With strong idealism, true values, good morals and a passion to continue serving, God willing we will be able to take Malaysia to a higher level for the sake of future generations. #MalaysiaMADANI #MADANIwork #YakinMADANI

Petang tadi saya ke Alor Gajah, Melaka untuk bersama warga perkhidmatan awam Zon Selatan dalam sesi santai mesra yang menghimpunkan penjawat awam dari Melaka, Negeri Sembilan dan Johor. Saya zahirkan penghormatan dan pengiktirafan tertinggi kepada penjawat awam yang telah bekerja keras memastikan negara kita terus bergerak maju, sekali gus meletakkan Malaysia sebagai negara yang semakin dihormati di pentas antarabangsa. Kejayaan demi kejayaan Malaysia di pentas dunia ketika ini, termasuk lonjakan 11 anak tangga yang meletakkan Malaysia sebagai ekonomi ke-15 paling berdaya saing di dunia dalam World Competitiveness Ranking 2026, tidak mungkin dicapai tanpa kecekapan dan komitmen penjawat awam yang memastikan setiap dasar dilaksanakan dengan berkesan. Kejayaan ini bukan hasil usaha satu atau dua orang, tetapi hasil kerja seluruh pasukan penjawat awam yang berkhidmat di seluruh negara. Dalam siri lawatan ke Jepun, Rusia dan Turkmenistan baru-baru ini, saya melihat sendiri bagaimana keyakinan dunia terhadap Malaysia semakin meningkat. Pelbagai kerjasama strategik dalam sektor tenaga, pelaburan dan perdagangan berjaya dimeterai hasil kestabilan politik, kejelasan dasar serta keupayaan jentera kerajaan melaksanakan keputusan dengan cekap dan berkesan. Namun kita tidak boleh berpuas hati dengan pencapaian semasa. Dunia sedang berubah dengan pantas melalui kecerdasan buatan, ekonomi digital, teknologi baharu dan cabaran geopolitik yang semakin kompleks. Justeru seluruh pasukan penjawat awam mesti mempunyai propensity to change, yakni kesediaan untuk berubah, menyesuaikan diri dengan tuntutan baharu dan terus meningkatkan keupayaan. Dalam semangat itqan fil amal atau striving for excellence, setiap amanah mesti dilaksanakan sebaik mungkin. Kita tidak boleh membiarkan budaya sambil lewa, birokrasi yang melambatkan urusan atau resistance to change menghalang usaha reformasi yang sedang dilaksanakan. Dengan idealisme yang teguh, nilai yang benar, akhlak yang baik serta semangat untuk terus berkhidmat, Insya-Allah kita mampu membawa Malaysia ke tahap yang lebih tinggi demi generasi masa hadapan. #MalaysiaMADANI #MADANIbekerja #YakinMADANI
