CTC Guaymate impulsa la transformación digital con conferencia magistral “No es la Tecnología, Eres Tú”
La Romana.– With a notable participation of community members, young people and representatives of different sectors, the Community Technology Center (CTC) of Guaymate held the training day “Digital Creators”, whose main activity was the keynote talk “It is not the Technology, It is You”, given by Atahualpa Pérez, Center Management coordinator of the CTC.
The activity was headed by the general director of the Community Technology Centers, Isidro Torres, who reaffirmed the institutional commitment to continue bringing opportunities for technological training and entrepreneurship to the communities.
The importance of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and entrepreneurship was highlighted as fundamental pillars for the development of the Dominican Republic, while highlighting the role of CTCs as spaces to democratize access to technology and knowledge.
The day also included the workshops Become a YouTuber, Digital Creators, Artificial Intelligence and other training focused on digital skills and content creation, which achieved great attendance from participants from the Guaymate community.
Within the framework of the activity, more than 112 certificates were delivered to citizens who successfully completed various training actions during the year 2026, recognizing their effort and commitment to continuous learning.
The event had the support of the manager Yudelka Aquino Aquino; the Eastern zonal coordinator, Yan Carlos Núñez Zorrilla, facilitators, collaborators and support staff. Likewise, Francis Disla, in charge of community appropriation, was working on the signing of territorial agreements with different institutions of the Guaymate community and the CTC.
With initiatives like this, Community Technology Centers continue to strengthen digital inclusion, innovation and entrepreneurship, bringing growth and development opportunities to communities across the country.

En el marco de la actividad, fueron entregadosmás de 112 certificados a ciudadanosque culminaron exitosamente diversasacciones formativas durante el año 2026, reconociendo su esfuerzo y compromiso con el aprendizaje continuo.
