I was pleased to host Polish President Mr. Karol Nawrocki and his delegation in our country. 🇹🇷 🇵🇱 We are developing cooperation in every field as two allies and strategic partners, with the strength we derive from our deep-rooted history with Poland spanning over six centuries. During our meetings, we exchanged ideas on many topics, from trade to investments, from the defense industry to energy and human relations. After reaching our trade volume target of 10 billion dollars, we set a target of 15 billion dollars. Poland is among the countries where our contracting companies are most active, with projects worth approximately 9 billion dollars. Another potential area with Poland is transportation. The "Three Seas Initiative", of which we are a strategic partner with the support of Poland, offers an important platform in this regard. The defense industry is one of the prominent agenda items of our bilateral cooperation. As two NATO allies that have an indispensable place in Europe's security and defense architecture, we are working to strengthen this cooperation. During our meeting, we thoroughly evaluated the latest situation in the Russia-Ukraine war and Iran-related developments, and drew attention to the need for peace in both areas. In this regard, one of the issues that should never be overshadowed is the process leading to permanent peace in Palestine and the Middle East. We expect Poland, which is among the countries that recognize the State of Palestine, to continue its support for the two-state solution.

Polonya Cumhurbaşkanı Sayın Karol Nawrocki ve heyetini ülkemizde misafir etmekten memnuniyet duydum. 🇹🇷 🇵🇱 Polonya’yla altı asrı aşan köklü tarihimizden aldığımız güçle iki müttefik ve stratejik ortak olarak her alanda iş birliğini geliştiriyoruz. Görüşmelerimizde ticaretten yatırımlara, savunma sanayisinden enerji ve beşerî ilişkilere kadar birçok başlıkta fikir alışverişinde bulunduk. 10 milyar dolarlık ticaret hacmi hedefimize erişmemizin ardından 15 milyar dolarlık hedef belirledik. Polonya, yaklaşık 9 milyar dolar tutarındaki projeyle müteahhitlik firmalarımızın en faal olduğu ülkeler arasında yer alıyor. Polonya’yla bir diğer potansiyel alanı ulaştırma teşkil ediyor. Polonya’nın da desteğiyle stratejik ortak olduğumuz “Üç Deniz Girişimi” bu konuda önemli bir platform sunuyor. Savunma sanayisi de ikili iş birliğimizin öne çıkan gündem maddelerinden biri. Avrupa’nın güvenlik ve savunma mimarisinde vazgeçilmez yere sahip olan iki NATO müttefiki olarak bu iş birliğimizi güçlendirmek için çalışıyoruz. Görüşmemizde Rusya-Ukrayna savaşındaki son durum ve İran bağlantılı gelişmeleri de etraflıca değerlendirdik, her iki alanda da barışa duyulan ihtiyaca dikkat çektik. Bu minvalde asla gölgede kalmaması gereken hususların başında Filistin ve Orta Doğu’da kalıcı barışa giden süreç geliyor. Filistin Devleti’ni tanıyan ülkeler arasındaki Polonya’dan iki devletli çözüme olan desteğini sürdürmesini bekliyoruz.
