Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye hold trilateral talks in Cairo on regional crises
Cairo, June 21 (SANA)Egyptian Foreign MinisterBadr Abdelattyheld a trilateral meeting inCairoon Sunday with his Saudi counterpartFaisal bin Farhan Al Saudand Turkish Foreign MinisterHakan Fidan, focusing on regional developments, according to the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of a broader gathering of regional stakeholders hosted in the Egyptian capital.
In a statement, the ministry spokesperson said the discussions reflected ongoing coordination and consultations among the three countries on issues of mutual concern.
The ministers discussed developments inGaza,SudanandLibya, as well asIran-related issues and the situation in the Horn ofAfrica.
They stressed the importance of continued coordination to support regional security and stability and to advance efforts aimed at resolving ongoing crises.
On Saturday, the three ministers had also met in Cairo with a senior adviser to theU.S. presidentfor Arab and African affairs, Massad Boulos, to discuss a range of regional issues.
