During a meeting with the leadership of NaRRA and representatives from several government agencies, I spoke about the responsibility of public servants to carry out their work with professionalism and integrity.

The National Identification and Registration Authority (NIRA) has already gone through the necessary discussions and decision-making process. That process is complete, and the focus now must be on getting the work done and delivering results for our people.

While people will always have their own political views, those views should not get in the way of doing the job. Once a decision has been properly made, it must be carried out fairly and professionally.

The success of national programmes depends on commitment, discipline, and a clear focus on service to the people of Jamaica.
