Condolence Statement … Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi extends his condolences to the literary and cultural community on the passing of Iraqi writer and novelist Samīra al-Māni. The late writer was among the pioneers who enriched Iraqi literature through her contributions to the novel, short story, and theater. May Allah envelop her in His vast mercy and grace, and may He grant her family and loved ones patience and solace. Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.
