However, Cambodia urges the Thai side to prepare for the appointment of the chairman of the Thai JBC and to start the process of surveying and demarcating the border as soon as possible in accordance with the spirit of the third joint declaration dated December 27, 2025, which the two sides signed. 4. However, Cambodia urges Thailand to appoint its JBC chief and to begin joint survey and demarcation works as soon as possible, in accordance with Joint Statement of 27 December 2025, Point # 3, which both Cambodia and Thailand signed. 4.
