The parties discussed the expansion of investment and financial cooperation between the two countries, the development of capital markets and interaction with the London Stock Exchange, the expansion of Uzbekistan’s presence in international capital markets, the placement of sovereign and corporate securities, and the privatization of state-owned enterprises and IPO processes.

The prospects for cooperation in urban planning, regional development, and the development of master plans were also discussed. It was noted that projects involving British companies contribute to the introduction of modern approaches to urban planning, the development of sustainable infrastructure and the creation of favorable living conditions. The importance of expanding cooperation with UKEF, effectively using its financial instruments, and accelerating the preparation and implementation of joint projects was emphasized.

It is planned to continue cooperation with Standard Chartered Bank on access to international capital markets, the placement of sovereign bonds, the improvement of capital market legislation, and the attraction of foreign investment.

An agreement was reached to continue the dialogue aimed at expanding investment, financial and infrastructural cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom.
