ЖамиятUzbekistan and Germany launch two major projects on labor migration and vocational training14:21 / 18.06.2026
Among them, two Migration Agency projects under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, implemented in partnership with German partners, are particularly important. Each project costs $1 million.
The first project provides targeted training for 500 specialists in Germany’s railway sector in cooperation with one of Europe’s largest transport companies – Deutsche Bahn. Upon completion of the training, participants will have the opportunity to take up high-paying jobs in Germany.
The second project aims to create a network of TELC examination centers in Uzbekistan. Thanks to this initiative, citizens of the country will be able to obtain internationally recognized TELC certificates alongside Goethe certificates. It is expected that more than 30,000 compatriots will be able to take exams in Uzbekistan annually, significantly simplifying the process of confirming language competencies for study and employment abroad.
The implementation of these projects will be an important step toward strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany on training qualified personnel, increasing labor mobility, and expanding opportunities for young people in the international labor market.
