Syrian Arab Red Crescent helps injured students sit for exams

Damascus, June 17 (SANA)Two injured Syrian students were able to sit for their Basic Education Certificate exams this week afterSyrian Arab Red Crescentambulance teams transported them to examination centers inLatakiaandDamascus, the organization said Wednesday on its Telegram channel.

In Latakia province, ambulance crews accompanied a student suffering from fractures from Jableh National Hospital to an examination center in the village of al-Qutaylibiyah before returning him to the hospital to continue treatment.

In a separate operation, Red Crescent teams assisted a female student who sustained fractures and other serious injuries in a traffic accident. She was transported from her home in the Ein al-Kirsh area to an examination center in the Rukn al-Din district of Damascus and returned home after completing her exam.

The organization said both students had spent months preparing for the examinations, and the transport arrangements ensured they were able to complete an important stage of their education despite their injuries.

The operations highlighted the role of emergency and humanitarian services in supporting students facing difficult circumstances during the examination period.

The Syrian Arab Red Crescent also reiterated that its ambulance network remains available around the clock to respond to emergency cases.
