ශ්‍රී ලංකා ආර්ථික සංවර්ධනයේ වැදගත් සන්ධිස්ථානයක් සනිටුහන් කරමින් සම්පාදනය කරන ලද 2026–2030 කාලසීමාව සඳහා වන ජාතික අපනයන සංවර්ධන සැලැස්ම (NEDP) අද (16) පෙරවරුවේ ජනාධිපති කාර්යාලයේදී භාර ගතිමි. 2025 අයවැය යටතේ ශ්‍රී ලංකා රජයේ ප්‍රතිපත්තිමය මඟපෙන්වීමට අනුකූලව, රටේ අපනයන ක්ෂේත්‍රය ශක්තිමත් කිරීම සහ අපනයනය මූලික කර ගත් තිරසර ආර්ථික වර්ධනයක් අත්පත් කර ගැනීමත්, ශ්‍රී ලංකාව කලාපීය සහ ගෝලීය වෙළෙඳපොළ සඳහා සේවය සපයන තරගකාරී සැපයුම් දාම (Logistics) සහ දැනුම පදනම් කර ගත් අපනයන මධ්‍යස්ථානයක් බවට පත් කිරීමත් අරමුණු කර ගනිමින් ප්‍රධාන ජාතික වැඩසටහනක් ලෙස 2026–2030 ජාතික අපනයන සංවර්ධන සැලැස්ම සකස් කරනු ලැබ ඇත. මෙම ජාතික සැලැස්ම සකස් කිරීමෙහිලා දායකත්වය ලබා දුන් රාජ්‍ය ආයතන, පෞද්ගලික අංශය, සිවිල් සංවිධාන සහ ජාත්‍යන්තර සංවර්ධන හවුල්කරුවන් ඇතුළු සියලු දෙනා වෙත මෙහිදී ස්තූතිය පළ කළෙමි. ශක්තිමත් පාලන සහ අධීක්ෂණ රාමුවක සහාය සහිතව මෙම සැලැස්ම ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීමෙන්, දේශීය නිෂ්පාදන ජාත්‍යන්තර ප්‍රමිතීන්ට ඔසවා තැබීමත්, රටේ දිගුකාලීන ආර්ථික ස්ථාවරත්වය සහ වර්ධනය සහතික කිරීමත් රජයේ අරමුණයි. මෙම ජාතික අපනයන සංවර්ධන සැලැස්ම ශ්‍රී ලංකා ආර්ථිකයේ නව පෙරගමන්කරු ලෙස ඉදිරියේදී ක්‍රියා කරනු ඇතැ'යි අපේක්ෂා කරමි. இலங்கையின் பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சியில் முக்கிய மைல்கல்லைக் குறிக்கும் வகையில் தயாரிக்கப்பட்ட, 2026–2030 காலப்பகுதிக்கான தேசிய ஏற்றுமதி அபிவிருத்தி திட்டத்தை (NEDP) இன்று (16) முற்பகல் ஜனாதிபதி அலுவலகத்தில் பெற்றுக்கொண்டேன். 2025 ஆம் ஆண்டு வரவுசெலவுத் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் இலங்கை அரசாங்கத்தின் கொள்கை வழிகாட்டுதல்களுக்கு இணங்க, நாட்டின் ஏற்றுமதித் துறையை வலுப்படுத்துவதையும், ஏற்றுமதியை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்ட நிலைபேறான பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சியை அடைவதையும், இலங்கையை பிராந்திய மற்றும் உலகளாவிய சந்தைகளுக்குச் சேவையாற்றும் போட்டித்தன்மைமிக்க விநியோகச் சங்கிலி (Logistics) மற்றும் அறிவை மையமாகக் கொண்ட ஏற்றுமதி மத்திய நிலையமாக மாற்றுவதையும் நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டு, பிரதான தேசிய வேலைத்திட்டமாக 2026–2030 தேசிய ஏற்றுமதி அபிவிருத்தித் திட்டம் தயாரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த தேசியத் திட்டத்தைத் தயாரிப்பதில் பங்களிப்பு வழங்கிய அரச நிறுவனங்கள், தனியார் துறை, சிவில் அமைப்புகள் மற்றும் சர்வதேச அபிவிருத்திப் தரப்பினர் உள்ளிட்ட அனைவருக்கும் எனது நன்றியைத் தெரிவித்தேன். வலுவான நிர்வாக மற்றும் கண்காணிப்புக் கட்டமைப்பின் ஆதரவுடன் இந்தத் திட்டத்தைச் செயல்படுத்துவதன் மூலம், உள்நாட்டு உற்பத்திகளை சர்வதேசத் தரத்திற்கு உயர்த்துவதும், நாட்டின் நீண்டகால பொருளாதார ஸ்திரத்தன்மை மற்றும் வளர்ச்சியை உறுதிப்படுத்துவதும் அரசாங்கத்தின் நோக்கமாகும். இந்த தேசிய ஏற்றுமதி அபிவிருத்தித் திட்டம், இலங்கை பொருளாதாரத்தின் புதிய முன்னோடியாக எதிர்காலத்தில் செயல்படும் என எதிர்பார்க்கிறேன். Marking an important milestone in Sri Lanka’s economic development, received the National Export Development Plan (NEDP) for the period 2026–2030 this morning (16) at the Presidential Secretariat. In line with the policy direction of the Government under the 2025 Budget, the 2026–2030 National Export Development Plan has been prepared as a key national programme with the objectives of strengthening the country’s export sector, achieving export-led sustainable economic growth, and transforming Sri Lanka into a competitive logistics and knowledge-based export hub serving regional and global markets. Expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to the preparation of this national plan, including government institutions, the private sector, civil society organisations and international development partners. It is the objective of the Government that, through implementation supported by strong governance and monitoring framework, this plan will elevate local products to international standards and ensure long-term economic stability and growth for the country. Expect that the National Export Development Plan will act as a new driving force for Sri Lanka’s economy in the future.
