During a meeting with President Guy Parmelain after his arrival in Geneva, he thanked Switzerland for all the support provided and, in particular, for its willingness to help bring peace closer. Informed Mr. President about constant Russian attacks and our needs to strengthen air defense. He spoke about the situation at the front and Ukrainian long-range sanctions. Our middle strikes and deep strikes quite rightly force Russia to feel the consequences of the war it unleashed. And we discussed which sanctions measures of partners can also force Russia to sit down at the negotiating table. They also talked about cooperation in the energy sector.
