Raqqa, June 15 (SANA)A member of the Internal Security Forces was martyred and three others were injured on Monday while foiling an attack carried out by two suicide bombers from theISISterrorist organization targeting a headquarters of theInternal Security Commandin the city of Raqqa.

The Ministry of Interior said via its Telegram channel that security personnel confronted the two suicide attackers with high vigilance, engaging them and successfully neutralizing one of them, while the other detonated himself using an explosive vest after being surrounded.

The ministry added that the injured personnel were transferred to hospitals to receive treatment, affirming the continued efforts to pursue terrorist cells and prevent them from threatening the security of citizens and the stability of the region.
