Digesett extiende contraflujo en la avenida Padre Castellanos para agilizar el tránsito en horas matutina
Santo Domingo.-The General Directorate of Traffic and Land Transportation Security (Digesett) launched the contraflow extension on Padre Castellanos Avenue, from Antonio Guzmán Street (14th Street), to the Quinto Centenario Express elevated, in an east-west direction, as part of the actions aimed at improving vehicular circulation during morning hours.
This initiative aims to make mobility more efficient and faster in the morning hours, facilitating a more orderly and continuous flow of vehicles that travel from the Eastern Zone to different points of the National District, helping citizens reach their destinations more quickly and safely.
The director of the Digesett, General Pascual Cruz Méndez (P.N), reported that the measure is part of the comprehensive strategy that is being developed to optimize traffic management in high congestion corridors, through the implementation of operational solutions that allow reducing travel times and improving road safety.
The institution's agents will be permanently supervising the operation of this road device, guiding drivers and making the necessary adjustments to guarantee its effectiveness.
The Digesett urges citizens to respect the installed signage and follow the instructions of traffic officers, reaffirming its commitment to continue working for more efficient, safe and organized mobility for all.

El director de la Digesett,general Pascual Cruz Méndez (P.N), informó que la medida forma parte de laestrategia integralque se está desarrollando para optimizar la gestión del tránsito encorredores de alta congestión, mediante la implementación desoluciones operativasque permitan reducir los tiempos de desplazamiento y mejorar la seguridad vial. Los agentes de la institución estarán supervisando permanentemente el funcionamiento de este dispositivo vial, orientando a los conductores y realizando los ajustes necesarios paragarantizar su efectividad. La Digesett exhorta a los ciudadanos arespetar la señalizacióninstalada y seguir las indicaciones de losagentes de tránsito, reafirmando su compromiso de continuar trabajando por una movilidadmás eficiente, segura y organizadapara todos.
