Occupied Jerusalem, June 15 (SANA)The death toll from the ongoingIsraeli attackson theGaza Stripsince Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 73,003, while the number of injured has reached 173,252, according to thePalestinian Ministry of Health.

The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) quoted the ministry as saying that hospitals across the Gaza Strip received seven fatalities and six injuries during the past 24 hours. The fatalities included six newly reported deaths and one body recovered from under the rubble.

The ministry said the total number of fatalities recorded since the ceasefire ended on Oct. 10 of last year had risen to 992, while the number of injuries had reached 3,144. It added that 784 bodies had been recovered during the same period.

The ministry noted that a number of victims remain trapped beneath collapsed buildings and on roads across the enclave, as ambulance and civil defense teams continue to face difficulties reaching affected areas.

The latest figures come as Israeli military operations continue across the Gaza Strip, amid extensive damage to infrastructure and residential neighborhoods and worsening humanitarian conditions, according to Palestinian sources.
