Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi Participates in Ceremony Marking the Anniversary of the Establishment of the Popular Mobilization Forces … Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi, participated today, Sunday, in the commemorative ceremony organized by the Popular Mobilization Authority to mark the 12th anniversary of the establishment of the Popular Mobilization Forces. The attendees recalled the sacrifices of the martyrs who gave their lives while confronting the terrorist ISIS groups, as well as the courage of the wounded and the steadfastness of the fighters who answered the call of duty and responded to the fatwa of the Supreme Religious Authority on collective defense (Jihad al-Kifa’i). They joined their brothers from across the various branches and formations of the Iraqi Armed Forces in defending Iraq and liberating its governorates from the scourge of terrorism.
