Chinese companies eye partnerships and expansion in Syria through Buildex
Damascus, June 14 (SANA)Chinese companies showcased constructionmaterials, sanitary systems, aluminium products and industrial textiles at the 24th Buildex International Exhibition in Damascus, reflecting growing interest in Syria’s market and construction-related opportunities.
Representatives told SANA on Sunday that the exhibition provided valuable information on local demand and enabled them to meet withSyrian businesses, opening discussions on future partnerships, supply agreements and potential investments.
Several companies indicated they are exploring ways to expand their presence in Syria through distribution networks, local operations and closer cooperation with Syrian traders, citing increased demand for their products.
Participants also highlighted the quality and competitiveness ofChinese industrialand construction products, noting that the exhibition serves as an important platform for connecting suppliers with potential clients and partners in Syria and the wider region.
Buildex opened last Wednesday at theDamascus Fairgroundand concludes on Sunday. The exhibition brings together companies specializing in construction, water technologies, environmental sustainability, real estate development, engineering services, heavy machinery, banking services, and security and safety systems.
