Riyadh, June 14 (SANA)Representatives of Syria’sInterior Ministryparticipated in a seminar inRiyadhon the role of media security in strengthening community safety, the ministry said on Sunday.

The event, hosted byNaif Arab Universityfor Security Sciences, brought together participants to discuss the role of media communication in supporting public security and social stability.

In a statement posted on Telegram, the Interior Ministry said its participation was aimed at exchanging expertise and highlighting the importance of coordination between media and security institutions in addressing contemporary challenges.

The ministry said the seminar focused on how media strategies can contribute to community awareness and support efforts to enhance public safety.

The participation follows the ministry’s attendance at an international forum on the security of major sporting events held in Rabat in January. The event was organized by Naif Arab University for Security Sciences in cooperation with Morocco’s Ministry of Justice, the National Observatory on Crime, the United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism and the International Organization for Migration.
