Presidente Abinader se reúne con líderes comunitarios y evalúa avances de obras clave en Santiago
Santiago. – President Luis Abinaders held a meeting this Saturday with community leaders from the different municipalities and sectors of Santiago, with whom he reviewed the main works carried out by the Government in the province and listened to the priority needs of the communities.
During the meeting, the president reviewed, together with community representatives, the progress of projects related to drinking water, road infrastructure, education, health, sports and citizen security, as part of the Government's monitoring of the investments it develops in the province.
The head of state explained that community leaders from different localities participated in the meeting, who presented concerns and proposals regarding the needs of their sectors, allowing a direct evaluation of the status of the works and pending projects.
The president described the meeting as very productive and announced that this type of meeting will continue to be held periodically to strengthen coordination between government institutions and communities.
At the meeting, held at the Governor's Office, the president reiterated that his administration maintains the commitment to work hand in hand with the communities to identify priorities and guarantee that the works respond to the real needs of the population, promoting comprehensive development throughout the province of Santiago.
Likewise, the president reported that this Sunday he will lead a Council of Ministers in the assembly hall of the Botanical Garden of Santiago, where an update on the government projects in progress and the actions planned to continue promoting the development of the province will be presented.
As part of his agenda in Santiago, the president will also inaugurate a drinking water pumping station and the placement of the delivery line in Villa Hortensia. It will also leave the drinking water line in operation that will benefit residents of the Las Mercedes neighborhood and Delio Reyes Street.
Likewise, it will deliver the sports roof of the Domingo Paulino Club (CDP), located in the Los Jardines sector, a work that will contribute to the strengthening of sports, recreational and community activities in that area of the city.

Asimismo, el presidente informó que este domingo encabezará unConsejo de Ministrosen el salón de actos delJardín Botánico de Santiago, donde se presentará una actualización sobre losproyectos gubernamentales en ejecucióny las acciones previstas para continuar impulsando el desarrollo de la provincia. Como parte de su agenda en Santiago, el mandatario también inaugurará unaestación de bombeo de agua potabley la colocación de la línea de impulsión enVilla Hortensia. También dejará en funcionamiento lalínea de agua potableque beneficiará a residentes del barrioLas Mercedes y la calle Delio Reyes.
