Death toll from Israeli attacks on Lebanon rises to 3,756 amid continued raids

Beirut, June 13 (SANA)Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health said on Saturday that the cumulative death toll from theIsraeli offensiveonLebanonsince March 2 has risen to 3,756, with 11,632 people wounded.

The figures were released by the ministry’s Emergency Operations Center and cover the period through June 13.

Israeli airstrikesand artillery shelling continued acrosssouthern Lebanonon Saturday, targeting towns in the Nabatieh district and other areas near the border, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA).

An Israeli drone struck the town of Habboush and another target near the Zefta-Nmairiyeh junction, while warplanes carried out a strike on the Ali al-Taher woodland on the outskirts of Upper Nabatieh.

Later in the day, Israeli aircraft hit a residential and commercial building near the Kfarreman-Nabatieh roundabout, injuring two people, NNA reported.

The towns of Kfartebnit, Toul and Kfour also came under air attack.

In the southern town of Ansar, an airstrike destroyed a house in the al-Zayata al-Tahta neighborhood. One person was killed and another injured, while rescue teams searched through the rubble for a missing woman.

The Lebanese Army said an Israeli drone targeted a soldier near Al-Najda Hospital in Nabatieh while he was traveling through the area. The soldier sustained serious wounds in the attack.

Separately, one person was killed in an airstrike that targeted Kfarreman earlier in the day.

Other strikes were reported in several areas of southern Lebanon and the western Bekaa, including the outskirts of Zalaya and Qallia
