Today, at the Oguz Khan University of Engineering and Technologies of Turkmenistan, a ceremony was held to reward the winners of the scientific competition among the youth of the country on the occasion of Science Day. This competition is organized annually in cooperation with the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the Central Council of the Youth Organization named after Magtymguly. Government members, heads of ministries and departments, representatives of the scientific community, professors and students of higher educational institutions participated in the ceremony of awarding the winners of the competition. During the event, the President's speech to the winners of the competition among the youth of the country on scientific works was listened to with great enthusiasm. As it was emphasized, the contribution of science in the achievements of the state is great. The powerful development of the country depends in many respects on our profoundly scientific and educated youth and their effective work. The creative achievements and new scientific discoveries of young scientists who have made the goals of Ayd a principle in the priority areas of science are a great contribution to the further prosperity of the state. In this field, research institutes, higher educational institutions, the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the Center of Young Scientists under the Central Council of the Youth Organization named after Magtymguly, the scientific discoveries of young scientists, engineers, technologists and specialists contribute to the solution of important tasks related to the socio-economic development of the state. One of the main goals is to develop the scientific system, to introduce new achievements of science to the branches of the economy, and to increase the scientific capacity of the country. In this regard, the number of talented young scientists, employees of scientific research institutes, departmental institutions, industrial associations, teachers and students of secondary and higher educational institutions, and young people of various professions who are interested in fundamental and applied science, participating in the scientific competition is increasing year by year. The favorable conditions created by Turkmen youth ensure the increase of interest in researches that facilitate new discoveries in science and technical development in general. More than 1,500 young scientists and students took part in the scientific competition announced in the year "Unbiased, eternal neutral Turkmenistan - the place of horse and horse heritage". They presented their developments, scientific methods, and scientific studies in six main areas of science and technology. Competitive nanotechnologies, chemical technologies, new materials research and energy; biotechnology, molecular biology, agriculture, ecology and genetics; information and communication systems, computer technologies; modern medical and drug production technologies; innovative economy; conducted in areas such as the humanities. Today, the major reforms in these sectors are primarily aimed at ensuring national interests and reaching new levels of social and economic development. 170 young people who participated in the competition were selected as winners. The young people who were declared the winners of the prestigious competition were the main characters of the ceremony held here. The winners were presented with certificates and valuable gifts on behalf of the Turkmen leader amid loud applause of the participants. The winners of the competition expressed their sincere gratitude to the President of the Turkmen state for his comprehensive concern for the young generation and assured that they will spare no effort to preserve the honor and glory of the Motherland. At the end of the ceremony, the participants accepted the President's Address. The regular event was concluded with festive performances by art masters and creative groups of higher education institutions.
