Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, said that I received the news of the death of Sahit Jashari with deep sadness.
In these difficult moments for the family, U.D. President Haxhiuju expressed her sincere condolences to the Jashari family.
"Sahit Jashari belonged to the generation of people who, in the most difficult days of Kosovo, responded to the call of freedom with courage, dedication and sacrifice. As an early comrade-in-arms and one of the first figures of the liberation organization, he remained eternally connected to Prekazi, to Drenica and to the history of our national resistance", says the U.D. telegram. President Haxhiu.
She further said that his life was connected with the ideal of freedom and with Kosovo's long road to liberation.
"In the memory of his family, comrades-in-arms and the citizens who knew him, Sahit Jashari will remain a man of endurance, faith and dedication to the homeland", U.D. said. President Haxhiu.
U.D. President Haxhiuka said that in these days of pain, I sympathize with the Jashari family, his relatives, comrades-in-arms and friends for this loss.
"In my name and that of the Presidency of the Republic of Kosovo, please accept my sincere condolences", says the U.D.'s telegram. President Haxhiu.
