Erdoğan: Security of Syria and Lebanon tied to regional stability

Ankara, June 10 (SANA)Turkish PresidentRecep Tayyip Erdoğanaffirmed that Israel’s ongoing attacks pose a serious threat to regional security and stability, stressing thatTürkiyerejects any attempts to impose faits accomplis in neighboring countries.

Speaking at the parliamentary group meeting of the Justice and Development Party in Ankara on Wednesday, Erdoğan said Israeli assaults onSyriaandLebanonhave reached a level that directly threatens Türkiye itself.

He stressed that Ankara will not overlook any Israeli targeting of Syria and Lebanon, given their direct importance to Türkiye’s security.

Erdoğan underlined that the security of Syria and Lebanon is closely linked to the security and stability of the region.

He warned that developments in Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, and across the region represent a threat that extends beyond the Middle East to humanity as a whole, urging the international community to assume responsibility in halting Israeli violations and preventing the repetition of historical tragedies. He cautioned that continued international silence only encourages further escalation and instability.
