Yesterday and today are very active times of our political decisions. Yesterday, he held meetings with Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko, Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov, and Minister of Finance Serhiy Marchenko. Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi and Chief of the General Staff Hnatov confirm. The way was agreed - to increase the financial stability of our defense and to ensure the further transformation of the Ukrainian army. I am grateful to the parliamentarians who approved the changes to the budget to strengthen our defense. I am grateful to the partners who help us. The first is payments. There is a resource to increase payments in the army. At least 30 thousand hryvnias in the rear. The more combat tasks, the higher the payout level. There will be new, significantly stronger contracts for foot soldiers. 300 thousand hryvnias on average on the first line. Everything depends on the Ukrainian infantry, on our Ukrainian infantryman. The contracts will be worked out in such a way that there is clarity: the duration of the contract is 10 months, 14, 24 and specific conditions, i.e. clear postponements. Guaranteed deadlines and real delays. In addition, payments for Ukrainian combat commanders will be increased, and this should create a positive incentive to maintain management experience in the army. The Cabinet of Ministers will approve the specific mechanism, and the Cabinet of Ministers should start the first new payments already in June. Second, I am grateful to all the volunteers from other countries who are fighting for our freedom in Ukraine, understanding that this concerns the freedom of many other peoples. I instructed to open significantly more opportunities to attract foreign volunteers to the Ukrainian army, and in this regard there will be more recruiting mechanisms. The third is further simplification of transfers for soldiers, more opportunities to grow in the army and more positive incentives to join the defense. I expect that every element of the changes now being implemented will show their effectiveness this summer. The Ministry of Defense will present the details of the decisions.

Вчора й сьогодні дуже активний час наших політичних рішень. Учора провів наради з Прем’єр-міністром Юлією Свириденко, міністром оборони України Михайлом Федоровим та міністром фінансів Сергієм Марченком. Головнокомандувач ЗСУ Олександр Сирський та начальник Генштабу Гнатов підтверджують. Погоджено шлях – збільшити фінансову стійкість нашої оборони й забезпечити подальшу трансформацію української армії. Я вдячний парламентарям, які затвердили зміни для бюджету, щоб посилити нашу оборону. Я вдячний партнерам, які нам допомагають. Перше – виплати. Є ресурс, щоб збільшити виплати в армії. Мінімум 30 тисяч гривень в тилу. Чим більше саме бойових завдань, тим більше рівень виплат. Будуть нові, відчутно сильніші контракти для піхотинців. 300 тисяч гривень в середньому на першій лінії. Все тримається на українській піхоті, на нашому українському піхотинці. Контракти будуть пропрацьовані так, щоб була чіткість: час контракту – 10 місяців, 14, 24 та конкретні умови, тобто чіткі відстрочки. Гарантовані терміни й реальні відстрочки. Окрім цього, будуть збільшені виплати для українських бойових командирів, і це має створити позитивний стимул, щоб зберегти досвід управління в армії. Кабінет Міністрів затвердить конкретний механізм, і перші нові доплати Кабмін має почати вже в червні. Друге – я вдячний усім добровольцям з інших країн, які бʼються заради нашої свободи в Україні, розуміючи, що це стосується свободи багатьох інших народів. Я доручив відкрити значно більше можливостей залучати іноземних добровольців в українську армію, і щодо цього буде більше механізмів рекрутингу. Третє – подальше спрощення переведень для воїнів, більше можливостей зростати в армії і більше позитивних стимулів, щоб приєднатися до оборони. Я розраховую, що кожен елемент змін, які зараз впроваджуються, за це літо покаже свою ефективність. Міністерство оборони представить деталі рішень.
