Three killed, 28 injured in accidents and fires in the last 24 hours across Syria
Provinces, June 11 (SANA)Three people were killed and 28 others injured in traffic accidents and fires to which Civil Defense teams of the Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management responded during the past 24 hours across Syria.
According to theCivil Defense’s Telegram channel, 21traffic accidentswere recorded, resulting in three deaths and 27 civilian injuries.
Civil Defense teams provided first aid to the injured and transported them to hospitals for treatment. The teams also removed debris from accident sites and secured the affected areas.
The Civil Defense additionally responded to 209firesacross Syria, including 63 fires in fields and agricultural crops and 146 separate fires in other locations.
The fires resulted in one civilian injury who was transferred to hospital for treatment, while the remaining incidents caused material damage only.
The Civil Defense urged residents not to light fires in forested areas or agricultural fields, and warned against discarding cigarette butts or glass containers along roadsides, particularly near forests and cultivated land. It also called on residents to avoid burning dry vegetation around homes and roads and to remove it using safe methods.
On Tuesday, 19 people were injured in 243 fires and traffic accidents recorded across Syria.
