Starting the first day of the visit to Japan by meeting an old friend who is also the Chairman of the Sasakawa Peace Foundation, Tan Sri Yohei Sasakawa. We were able to recall the long history of cooperation that has been established for a long time, including through Forum 2000 founded by the former Czech President, Václav Havel, which brought together world leaders, intellectuals and thinkers to discuss issues of democracy, human rights, peace and the future of universal civilization. We also remember the efforts to empower the young generation of Southeast Asia through various leadership development programs centered on the idea of the Asian Renaissance, to produce leaders rooted in values, culture and humanity. I express my appreciation for Tan Sri Sasakawa's great contribution to humanitarian efforts around the world for a long time. We also exchanged views on the escalating international crisis, including the situation in Myanmar, the Israel-Iran conflict and the ongoing humanitarian tragedy in Palestine. Peace efforts must continue to be supported by world leaders and the international community. Lasting peace can only be achieved through dialogue, understanding and mutual commitment to uphold justice. ===== Began the first day of my visit to Japan with a meeting with a long-time friend, Tan Sri Yohei Sasakawa, Chairman of the Sasakawa Peace Foundation. Notes
===== Began the first day of my visit to Japan with a meeting with a long-time friend, Tan Sri Yohei Sasakawa, Chairman of the Sasakawa Peace Foundation.
