I also had the opportunity to present Malaysia's aspirations, economic direction and investment potential in a business dialogue with 29 leaders of major Japanese conglomerates organized by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI). The companies present are among the world's leaders in the fields of banking and finance, semiconductors, renewable energy, infrastructure and petrochemicals. This meeting provides space to explore cooperation and investment opportunities that can benefit both countries. I also pointed out that the global supply crisis that is sweeping the world is accelerating changes in the international economic landscape. Countries that successfully attract strategic industries, new technologies and high-value investments will be in a stronger position to face future challenges, including strengthening energy security and economic resilience. On that basis, Malaysia must continue to strengthen relationships with world-leading companies to ensure that the country remains competitive and able to become one of the key hubs of future strategic industries and technologies in the region. God willing, the MADANI Government will continue to strengthen the country's investment ecosystem through a clear and consistent policy so that more quality investments can be brought into the country's strategic sectors, thereby strengthening the economy and creating more high-value job opportunities for the people. #MalaysiaMADANI #MADANIwork #YakinMADANI #Civil Diplomacy

Saya turut berkesempatan membentangkan aspirasi, hala tuju ekonomi serta potensi pelaburan Malaysia dalam dialog perniagaan bersama 29 pemimpin konglomerat utama Jepun yang dianjurkan oleh Kementerian Pelaburan, Perdagangan dan Industri (MITI). Syarikat-syarikat yang hadir merupakan antara peneraju dunia dalam bidang perbankan dan kewangan, semikonduktor, tenaga boleh baharu, infrastruktur serta petrokimia. Pertemuan ini memberi ruang untuk meneroka peluang kerjasama dan pelaburan yang dapat memberi manfaat kepada kedua-dua negara. Saya turut menegaskan bahawa krisis bekalan global yang melanda dunia sedang mempercepat perubahan dalam landskap ekonomi antarabangsa. Negara yang berjaya menarik industri strategik, teknologi baharu dan pelaburan bernilai tinggi akan berada pada kedudukan yang lebih kukuh untuk menghadapi cabaran masa hadapan, termasuk dalam memperkukuh keterjaminan tenaga dan daya tahan ekonomi. Atas dasar itu, Malaysia mesti terus memperkukuh hubungan dengan syarikat peneraju dunia bagi memastikan negara kekal berdaya saing dan berupaya menjadi antara hab utama industri strategik dan teknologi masa hadapan di rantau ini.
