Adolfo Vallejos Morales asume como nuevo viceministro de Culto
Minister Ramírez highlighted that he is a lawyer from the Nuestra Señora de la Asunción Catholic University, a doctor in Legal Sciences, a specialist in Canon Law, Theology of the Sacred Liturgy, protection of cultural heritage, civil law and private international law, in addition to having postgraduate studies completed in Italy and experience as a university teacher in Paraguay and Europe.
He noted that the designation responds to a shared vision focused on the human person as the axis of institutional actions, an approach that he considered essential to strengthen the work of the Vice Ministry of Worship and promote spaces for dialogue, understanding and cooperation between the different sectors of society.
Interreligious dialogue and respect for human dignity
The new vice minister thanked the President of the Republic, Santiago Peña, and Minister Luis Ramírez for their trust, and stated that he will assume office with the commitment to promote management aimed at respect for human rights, the dignity of people and the strengthening of values that contribute to social coexistence.
Likewise, he noted that he will work on the organization and institutional strengthening of the Vice Ministry of Worship, promoting improvements in records, participation mechanisms and work instances linked to his area of competence.
Coordinated work with faith communities
The vice minister indicated that the main challenge will be to coordinate efforts between diverse sectors, promoting an agenda of respect, cooperation and service to citizens.
In that sense, he stated that churches and religious organizations have already been carrying out important work in the area of the Vice Ministry of Worship, but he stressed that there are always opportunities to improve, organize processes and strengthen the institutional presence of the State in this field.
With this designation, the Ministry of Education and Sciences seeks to consolidate a management oriented towards dialogue, coexistence, religious freedom and respect for the diversity of expressions of faith present in Paraguayan society.

En ese sentido, afirmó que las iglesias y organizaciones religiosas ya vienen desarrollando un trabajo importante en el ámbito del Viceministerio de Culto, pero remarcó que siempre existen oportunidades para mejorar, ordenar procesos y fortalecer la presencia institucional del Estado en este campo. Con esta designación, el Ministerio de Educación y Ciencias busca consolidar una gestión orientada al diálogo,la convivencia, la libertad religiosa y el respeto a la diversidad de expresiones de fe presentes en la sociedad paraguaya.
