FERIA BRETE EN GUANACASTE TENDRÁ MÁS DE 1.000 PUESTOS VACANTES DISPONIBLES

August 21, 2024. San José, Costa Rica. More than 1,000 jobs will be available at the “Brete Chorotega Fair” to be held on September 5 and 6 in Liberia, Guanacaste. On the first day, the fair focused on the tourism sector and the next day on construction, transportation and agriculture sectors.
More than 20 companies will participate with vacancies for candidates with or without experience, in technical, operator, specialized and professional positions in different areas.
Among the vacant positions are: waiters, cooks, waiters, bartenders, tour guides, customer service, sales personnel, engineers, mechanics, programmers, construction workers, carpenters, drivers, warehouse workers and administrative staff, among others.
The Minister of Labor and Social Security, Andrés Romero, pointed out that "through the Brete Strategy, we have focused on promoting people's employment. This Fair is a concrete example, because we are bringing the people of Guanacaste closer to the jobs offered by companies in the region."
He added that, “this adds to the joint efforts that we have been developing with the productive sector in terms of training for employment, making places and scholarships available to people in the main careers that best fit the needs of companies, that is, strengthening the employability of Guanacasteans.”
For his part, the Minister of Tourism, William Rodríguez, highlighted that, "in the next two years a series of hotels will be inaugurated in Guanacaste that will employ about 3,000 people directly and 12,000 more indirectly. Without a doubt, the tourism sector is a great generator of quality jobs and that is why the businessmen in the sector that I represent have joined in working together with the Government within the framework of the Brete Strategy, and thus generate more conditions favorable ones that improve the productivity and competitiveness of tourism in Guanacaste and the country in general.”
This fair has the support of public and private allies, among which the Banco Popular, the Guanacaste Chamber of Tourism, the Tamarindo Chamber of Tourism and Commerce, ASOPAPAGAYO, the municipalities and the seven Employment Offices enabled throughout the province stand out.
The Brete Fair will be held at the headquarters of the National University of Liberia, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days, and admission will be completely free.
Attendees will have a series of additional services available, such as: access to places and training scholarships for employment, guidance and job intermediation, among others.

San José, Costa Rica.Más de 1.000 puestos de trabajo estarán disponibles en la “Feria Brete Chorotega” que se realizará los días 5 y 6 de septiembre en Liberia, Guanacaste. El primer día, la feria enfocada en el sector turismo y al día siguiente en sectores de construcción, transporte y agricultura. Participarán más de 20 empresas con vacantes para candidatos con o sin experiencia, en puestos técnicos, operarios, especializados y profesionales en diferentes áreas. Entre los puestos vacantes se encuentran: saloneros, cocineros, camareros, bartenders, guías turísticos, servicio al cliente, personal de ventas, ingenieros, mecánicos, programadores, operarios de construcción, carpinteros, choferes, bodegueros y personal administrativo, entre otros. El ministro de Trabajo y Seguridad Social, Andrés Romero, señaló que "a través de la Estrategia Brete, nos hemos enfocado en promover el empleo de las personas. Esta Feria es un ejemplo concreto, porque estamos acercando a las personas de Guanacaste a los puestos de trabajo que ofrecen las empresas de la región”. Añadió que, “esto se suma a los esfuerzos conjuntos que hemos venido desarrollando con el sector productivo en materia de formación para el empleo, poniendo a disposición de las personas cupos y becas en las principales carreras que más se ajustan a las necesidades de las empresas, es decir fortaleciendo la empleabilidad de los guanacastecos”. Por su parte, el ministro de Turismo, William Rodríguez, destacó que, “en los próximos dos años se inaugurarán en Guanacaste una serie de hoteles que emplearán a unas 3.000 personas de manera directa y a 12.000 más de forma indirecta. Sin duda, el sector turismo es un gran generador de empleos de calidad y es por eso que, los empresarios del sector que represento, se han sumado a trabajar conjuntamente con el Gobierno dentro del marco de la Estrategia Brete, y así generar más condiciones favorables que mejoren la productividad y competitividad del turismo de Guanacaste y del país en general”. Esta feria cuenta con el apoyo de aliados públicos y privados, entre los que destacan el Banco Popular, la Cámara de Turismo Guanacasteca, la Cámara de Turismo y Comercio de Tamarindo, ASOPAPAGAYO, las municipalidades y las siete Oficinas de Empleo habilitadas en toda la provincia. La Feria Brete se realizará en la sede de la Universidad Nacional de Liberia, en un horario de 8:00 a.m. a 4:00 p.m. ambos días, y la entrada será totalmente gratuita. Las personas asistentes tendrán a disposición una serie de servicios adicionales, tales como: acceso a los cupos y becas de formación para el empleo, orientación e intermediación laboral, entre otros.
