Ministra de la Presidencia, Laura Fernández, visita cantón de Acosta por avance de obras en carreteras, seguridad y salud
January 13, 2025 CP-004-2025The Government of the Republic makes a significant investment in the canton of Acosta and this Monday, the Minister of the Presidency, Laura Fernández Delgado, visited the canton to follow up on the progress of the works. The Costa Rican Social Security Fund invests 8 billion colones in the construction of the new Acosta health headquarters. A type 1 health area, for primary care. Additionally, on route 301 that connects Acosta de San José with Parrita de Puntarenas, 1.1 billion colones were invested in paving 20 kilometers of the road, as well as the investment of 729 million colones in a community bond to build interactive classrooms and a skateboard park in the community of Turrujal, for the enjoyment of the entire population. "The government's job is this, to serve the Costa Rican people. Investing in roads, clinics and so on is our obligation. The Government still has a lot of time left to work; some think that this administration is already on its way out as it is close to its last year in office, but we are with all the energy as if it were the first week," said Minister Fernández. The mayor of Acosta, Nelson Umaña highlighted the Government's investment in this place. "They did not forget us as has happened with other administrations. All the people are very grateful for these projects that we worked on with the Central Government and that today are becoming a reality," said Umaña.

13 de enero del 2025 CP-004-2025El Gobierno de la República realiza una importante inversión en el cantón de Acosta y este lunes, la Ministra de la Presidencia, Laura Fernández Delgado, visitó el cantón para darle seguimiento al avance de las obras. La Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social invierte 8 mil millones de colones en la construcción de la nueva sede de salud de Acosta. Un área de salud tipo 1, para atenciones primarias. Además, en la ruta 301 que comunica Acosta de San José con Parrita de Puntarenas, se invirtieron 1.100 millones de colones en el asfaltado de 20 kilómetros de la carretera, así como la inversión de 729 millones de colones en un bono comunal para construir aulas interactivas y un parque de patinetas en la comunidad de Turrujal, para el disfrute de toda la población. “El trabajo del gobierno es esto, servirle al pueblo costarricense. Invertir en carreteras, en clínicas y demás, es nuestra obligación. Al Gobierno todavía le queda mucho tiempo de trabajo; algunos piensan que esta administración ya va de salida al estar cerca de su último año de gestión, pero nosotros estamos con toda la energía como si fuera la primera semana”, afirmó la ministra Fernández. El alcalde de Acosta, Nelson Umaña destacó la inversión del Gobierno en este lugar. “No nos olvidaron como ha pasado con otras administraciones. Todo el pueblo está muy agradecido con estos proyectos que trabajamos con el Gobierno Central y que hoy están siendo una realidad”, afirmó Umaña.
