His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has extended his warm congratulations to His Excellency Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, on becoming the country’s longest-serving elected Prime Minister in terms of consecutive days in office.

In a message shared onhis official X account, the President also reaffirmed the Maldives’ commitment to further strengthening cooperation with India, guided by the principles of mutual respect, sovereign equality and shared interests.
