Damascus, June 11 (SANA)In the presence of Tourism Minister Mazen Al-Salhani and Investment Authority Director Talal Al-Hilali, Damascus Governor Maher Marwan Idlibi laid the foundation stone forDamascus Financial Center(DFC) project in Baramkeh neighborhood  of central Damascus.

SANA reporter said the project, being implemented by Syria Holding Company in partnership with Damascus Governorate under a public-private partnership (PPP) agreement, covers an area of ​​33,000 square meters, with a total floor area of ​​240,000 square meters.

The center will include six residential, commercial, and tourist towers, a shopping center, and five underground levels for parking and services. The project is expected to find 6,500 jobs during the construction phase and 8,500 jobs during the operational and investment phase.
