Administrative Bibliothek des Bundes
Since 1850, the Administrative Library has been procuring, collecting, archiving and documenting specialist literature and making it available to public administration employees. The holdings on the shelves and magazines are contemporary documents of Austrian history. In 2025, the library's long-standing history was honored with the anniversary exhibition "175 Years of Administrative".
The Administrative Library is a publicly accessible reference library. Your inventory can be viewed during opening hours.
In addition, federal employees and employees of public corporations are entitled to borrow.

Seit 1850 beschafft, sammelt, archiviert und dokumentiert die Administrative Bibliothek Fachliteratur und stellt diese den Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern der öffentlichen Verwaltung zur Verfügung. Die Bestände in den Regalen und Magazinen sind Zeitdokumente der österreichischen Geschichte. 2025 wurde mit der Jubiläumsausstellung "175 Jahre die Administrative" die langjährige Geschichte der Bibliothek gewürdigt. Die Administrative Bibliothek ist eine öffentlich zugängliche Präsenzbibliothek. Ihr Bestand kann während der Öffnungszeiten eingesehen werden. Darüber hinaus sind Bedienstete des Bundes sowie Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter von öffentlich-rechtlichen Körperschaften zur Entlehnung berechtigt.
