The Federal Chancellery uses the following logo for documents officially signed electronically:
The verification of documents (officially signed documents) from the Federal Chancellery in electronic form is possible via the verification service at https://www.signaturpruefung.gv.at in accordance with the verification information in the signature block of the document.
For officially signed documents available in paper form, the Federal Chancellery offers the recipient of printouts of officially signed documents from the Federal Chancellery the following options for submitting an authenticity check:

The clerk checks whether the document is his or her completion and, if the check is positive, answers the request with: "The document you submitted comes from the specified authority and its contents are unchanged." with written completion. In case of a negative check, the following answer is provided: "The document you submitted could not be verified by the specified authority."
The Federal Chancellery guarantees that such a review will be completed within 1 to a maximum of 2 weeks.

Fürin Papierform vorliegende amtssignierte Schriftstückebietet das Bundeskanzleramt der Empfängerin oder dem Empfänger von Ausdrucken von amtssignierten Schriftstücken des Bundeskanzleramtes folgende Möglichkeiten zur Vorlage einer Echtheitsprüfung: Die Post-Adresse der Eingangsstelle des Bundeskanzleramtes lautet: BundeskanzleramtEinlaufstelleMinoritenplatz 31010 Wien Die Sachbearbeiterin oder der Sachbearbeiter prüft, ob es sich bei dem Dokument um seine Erledigung handelt, und beantwortet die Anfrage im Fall der positiven Prüfung mit:"Das von Ihnen vorgelegte Dokument stammt von der angegebenen Behörde und ist inhaltlich unverändert."mit schriftlicher Erledigung. Im Falle einer negativen Prüfung ist folgende Antwort vorgesehen:"Das von Ihnen vorgelegte Dokument konnte von der angegebenen Behörde nicht verifiziert werden." Für die Durchführungsdauer einer solchen Überprüfung sichert das Bundeskanzleramt eine Erledigung innerhalb von 1 bis maximal 2 Wochen zu.
